MY FALL TOP SEASONAL STAPLES
I like summer, but I have to admit that fall is my favorite season by far. As we move from warmer weather to a much colder one, wardrobe transition is something you cannot skip during season changes. Dressing appropriately during the transition period is frequently challenging because it is typically cool in the morning but warms up in the afternoon. Almost all high-end retail stores always have the most amazing collection for the fall, including a ton of classic pieces and high-quality staples that have been in my closet for years! Stores like Mytheresa, Farfetch, Yoox, Outnet, Net-A-Porter, and more are my go-to for any high-end items in my wardrobe. In order to get you through the transitional weather and beyond, I wanted to share with you all my best investment recommendations for the forthcoming season!
1. TOPS
I have been asked a lot about my shirts lately, especially the striped ones, which are currently such stylish must-haves. It looks great both with jeans or dress pants. I have a Saint Laurent striped silk shirt, one of my best purchases, and a favorite that I wear to work more often. It is one of the things I am truly loving right now but it is getting much cooler nowadays hence might have to pack back for spring. It is such a classic item, and the pointed collar and gold buttons only add to its elegance. For some reason I am liking stripes a lot this season I think it gives a very clean and elegant touch to an outfit. Additionally, stunning shirts like the Toteme blue striped shirt have a wonderful roomy fit. Also, white button-up shirts are a must-have in every wardrobe and this one from Ralph Lauren oxford classic slim-fit shirt is very beautiful with the signature polo embroidery on the chest. Not forgetting the denim shirt which is also effortlessly chic. It is one of my favorites especially worn with jeans. These are items I have been frequently wearing over the past few months. Below are links to the items mentioned above.
2. KNITWEAR & CARDIGANS
Nothing is cozier during the cooler months than a knit or sweater. Amazing brands are represented by my favorite retail stores. I just invested in beautiful knits and cardigans from Khaite cashmere clothing. I have repeatedly seen a lot of fashion bloggers wearing them and after I bought mine I realized why all these people are obsessed with them. They are great investment pieces and very unique styles. I am confident they will last for many years. The updated Caro cardigan, with a scooped-neck style, is really gorgeous and I have added it to my wish list. You can wear it with a skirt, leggings, or jeans because of how attractive the pockets are. I have also been smitten with the maroon Scarlett cardigan and the beautiful Evi cashmere striped sweater from Toteme. There are so many stunning cashmere clothing available from Totéme, and the quality is simply outstanding! Not forgetting the oversized striped sweater or jumper from Toteme which will be very practical in the winter month of January when it is super cold. I am definitely getting one. With a pair of tailored trousers, the beige turtleneck sweater from Joseph, which is so timeless and amazing offers a comparable cozy and effortlessly chic style. I would like to wear it all winter long because the bulky ribbed knit looks so opulent. The Valentino Roman Stud Embellished Cardigan and the striped sweater are very gorgeous and I just ordered mine. I've always been a fan of the Self Portrait cardigans for a more reasonably priced and fashionable option. The embroidered bouclé cardigan's crystal accents and dress are stunning. Additionally, a gold version is available, which is more in the manner of a jacket but is still a timeless statement piece. Definitely on my wishlist because of the fashionable gold buttons and details! Below are what I have and still be adding to m wardrobe.
3. BLAZERS & JACKETS & COAT
Since it's so simple to appear put together, even with a pair of leggings, I've always enjoyed blazers! Given that we are entering a new season, it is the ideal moment to wear one. The black Tuxedo blazer by Saint Laurent is one of the brand's most classic designs. They have a herringbone wool jacket with stunning gold buttons and slightly cut sleeves that I absolutely adore and I am eyeing. For fall, leather items are a terrific purchase because you can wear them often but up to now, I haven’t bought leather pants. I have been researching for the best brand that will accommodate my petite body. The Isabel Marant and Agolde cropped leather pants are what are on my wishlist now. For leather jackets, The Attico offers a stunning one that is oversized in shape, and I adore the way it looks with a pair of blue jeans however I feel like I will be swallowed up in the oversized cut so I will pass on that. If you want one that is more tailored, Magda Butrym also has one like it and that is what is on my wish list now. If you like sheepskin, I recommend the Khaite shearling-trimmed leather jacket, which is a long-lasting investment. I recently purchased a Givenchy cropped leather sleeve jacket and it fits amazing and looks adorable on. When it comes to leather I feel Isabel Marant and Nanushka also do amazing work. The double-breasted Enarryli wool and cashmere coat is likewise quite stunning and stylish! I just ordered myself the Dior trench coat and the Max Mara coat and can’t wait to style these pieces. I have been eyeing another grey Dior coat for F/A 22 season for so long. I have also added to my list this Fendi jacket and coat linked below.
4. BOOTS & LOAFERS
Due to how simple it is to style and update any wardrobe, I have recently become obsessed with loafers, and with the colder months coming boots are my go-to either under wide-leg pants, maxi skirts, or sweater dresses. The brand-new, black leather loafers with the Gucci logo and gold-tone hardware (also available in a stunning brown tone) have me completely smitten. I just added it to my wish list. This summer I bought the channel loafers and I have had a lot of wear out of them hence his Gucci loafers will be a great addition. If the chunky sole is not something you fancy then you can go for the classic loafers. Another great classic item I am eyeing is the beautiful Hermes riding pair of boots. You can style and wear a nice pair of boots repeatedly throughout the fall and winter. Now is the ideal time to invest in a pair. I am also in love with the simple blocked-heel Valentino ankle boots which I plan to add to my wardrobe as well. This season, Prada has a stunning pair of leather and nylon boots that are perfect for unpredictable weather. Fendi and Tom Ford consistently offer the most incredible selection of boots as well. A wonderfully adorable pair of leather flamenco ankle boots from Loewe complement the style of their stunning handbags. The pointy toe is extremely stylish and makes a big impression. Below are what is currently adding to my wardrobe and wishlist for the season.
5. BAGS & ACCESSORIES
Without bags and accessories, no season would be complete because they completely transform any appearance regardless of the weather. You are undoubtedly already aware of how much I adore top-handle bags and would want to get more Hermes bags but before that, I have a few bags I am thinking of getting such as the Bottega pouch bag and the Balenciaga Hourglass bag. It's such a nice utilitarian purse to invest in and I love the green/grey color as well. I also love the Bottega clutches because they are always very stylish. I always enjoy a good pair of sunglasses, as you surely already know. The circular, black Loewe sunglasses with floral frames and the gold logo are really stylish so are the celine sunglasses. I've also included a link to my all-time favorite pair of Celine sunglasses, which I wear all the time. If you are into jewelry then Saint Laurent's monogram resin drop earrings will be such as statement such a statement piece, as well as their bicolor drop earrings because they are both so gorgeous. Additionally, they have a pair of adorable gold heart clip-on earrings that look amazing with any outfit. The only jewelry I consider investing in are some Dior bracelets and Patek Philippe watches for this season.
