CHRISTMAS DINNER OUTFITS

CHRISTMAS DINNER OUTFITS

FOUR MUST-HAVE CHRISTMAS DAY DINNER LOOKS

This Christmas season hits so differently because we missed out on a lot of events last year. With Covid and lockdown last year we were all left cozied up in our pajamas and cozy joggers hence this year we all want to glam up and go for various events to enjoy the festive season with family and friends. We are definitely ready for all things glamour and glitz. The season for end-of-year work parties, fancy meals, dinner with family, etc. Overthinking about Christmas Day outfits to really get into the Christmas spirit is unavoidable. That is why I am here to help suggest some outfit ideas.

You all know that I love to dress up at the best of times and really indulge in special occasions, so this Christmas especially feels like one of the most special in quite some time. A time to take the Christmas day dress code seriously and create some gorgeous looks from designers I enjoy their clothing. Well, since I enjoy dressing up I am here to help you with some ideas for you to choose from for these lifetime festive events. I have different looks from some of my favorite designer, premium, and high street brands. I have you covered from all price ranges. Let’s get into it.

  1. LADY IN RED

Nothing says Christmas glamor like a little red dress especially one that is easily thrown on and instantly looks glamorous. That is perfectly designed for the festive season since during family dinner gatherings there is so much going on but all you need is a simple red dress to lighten up the room. A completely on-trend knee-length fitting dress, with a beautiful V-neck and a silver zipper at the back. It looks delicate and flattering on the body and for posing for photography for this special day. A versatile festive look that can be accessorized in a multitude of ways.

I opted for a singular shade of red by adding these absolutely stunning Kurt Geiger heels that already feel perfectly festive with any outfit, but especially so with this amazing Karen Millen dress. I added a little purse to glam it up. You can even add some black designer tights to really inject a little contrast and luxury if your legs are cold.

2. THE SILK SLIP DRESS

And if you're thinking that this year you want to step away from a classic Christmas red or the little black dress, LBD, then maybe something sumptuous like a silk slip dress with any of the colors can be befitting. A beautiful slip dress will suit the occasion like a family Christmas reunion or dinner. There's something unique about opting for a slip dress, it drapes so beautifully and luxuriously for such an anticipated Holiday get-together with family and friends. This slip Zara dress is so elegant and can be worn layered to elevate the lux evening vibes or the shift style can easily stand alone.

3. GREEN MAXI DRESS

The color of the next two seasons, the shade that dominated the catwalk which is my newest love; anything emerald green. The color green is super festive and it is a silk maxi dress hence it flows and drapes very beautifully. This is a simple dress yet elegant look. I love how the bottom part of the dress flows so easily. It also helps to hide the tummy when you have eaten all the Christmas food.

I opted for this green silk dress and paired it with these lovely gold Stuart Weitzman heel sandals it perfectly brightens your day. The choice of the purse can be a red bag since the shoes are red or something that glitters to give it a shine and definitely a bold red lip will be great.

4. THE JUMPSUIT

The next outfit is a shade of color I always admire, anything tomato or orangy red. I couldn’t plan for my holiday events without a beautiful red piece but this time in a jumpsuit. In order to stand out in any event, I always go for a bold and bright piece, and recently there’s something about certain vibrant colors that boost my confidence levels and leave me feeling my best.

So here I have this beautiful crossed neck Opening Ceremony jumpsuit which is perfect for any date around this festive season. This shade is so beautiful for me because it goes well with my skin tone. I like to cinch in my outfits so here I have a brown belt from Hermes that perfectly fits in, with brown Christian Louboutin heels to lengthen the legs and finish it up with simple accessories to compliment the look.

I adore the back opening since it gives a lot of feminine vibes and personally love to cinch in a shift dress to add a little more shape to my figure. But this slip dress fits beautifully so you might not need a belt. I added beautiful beautiful Kurt Geiger shoes, here again, to show how versatile these shoes are on the feet and a little Chanel black flap purse to match the look. And not only does the look feel magical it feels perfect enough for Christmas Day with loved ones.
